Facilitator Training for Our Whole Lives (OWL)

- registration for the training
- dinner on Friday
- light breakfast, beverages, and snacks on Saturday
- dinner on Saturday (except for those in the Elementary track)
- light brunch, beverages, and snacks on Sunday

Details:
- Three tracks of training will run simultaneously. Each participant will select ONE track for the weekend in order to be certified in that age-level OWL curriculum:
- Elementary OWL (K-1 and 4-6)
- Middle/High School OWL (7-9 and 10-12)
- Young Adult/Adult/Older Adult OWL
- Training hours are Friday, 4-9 p.m.; Saturday, 8:30 a.m.-9 p.m. (Elementary track dismissed early, at 6 p.m.); and Sunday, 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. A detailed schedule will be included in the participant welcome letter which will be sent via email about one week in advance of the training.
- Please be aware that attendance is required at all parts of each training session for OWL facilitator certification (per Unitarian Universalist Association requirements). No exceptions.
- Training participants must be 25 years old (per Unitarian Universalist Association requirements) at the time of the training.
- Registration is limited to 24 participants per track.
- Participants must obtain and bring their own copies of the Our Whole Lives curriculum to the training, available for purchase online at the UUA Bookstore. Your congregation may provide the curriculum for you; please ask before purchasing. Please look the materials over and become familiar with them before you arrive.
